ROVNER JOINS MARQUETTE ASSET MANAGEMENT
AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

MINNEAPOLIS – (May 8, 2006) – Marquette Asset Management, Inc., a MINNEAPOLIS-based wealth management advisor, has named James Rovner as its senior vice president, senior investment officer, and a member of the firm’s investment committee.

Rovner (51) brings more than 25 years of investment experience to Marquette Asset Management. Most recently, Rovner served as chief investment officer at MINNEAPOLIS-based Labyrinth Group, a fund of hedge funds management company serving high net worth individuals.

Rovner began his career at US Bancorp where he spent 20 years as an analyst and equity portfolio manager. At US Bancorp he was also responsible for the firm’s index products and derivative strategies and sat on the Asset Allocation Committee. His clients ranged from individuals to major foundations and endowments. Rovner served as the portfolio manager of the bank’s First American Mid-Cap Value Fund, which grew from $250 MILLION to $800 MILLION under his leadership.

In his new role with Marquette Asset Management, Rovner will be responsible for equity research and portfolio management, with an eye toward supporting existing investment strategies and creating new ones.

Rovner joins a growing firm of experienced professionals at Marquette Asset Management, which provides private asset management and trust services to individuals, families and institutions with a focus on accounts greater than $2 MILLION. Assets under administration are now in excess of $450 MILLION.

Rovner earned a bachelor’s of business administration degree in finance and investments from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1984. Rovner formerly served on the Investment Advisory Board overseeing the Aristotle Fund at the University of St. Thomas, and currently serves on the Temple Israel Investment Committee.
